BluePeak is run by Branden. When you book a water test, he is the person at your kitchen sink doing it. Not a commissioned closer, not an outside sales rep, and not somebody reading a script off a tablet.
That is the whole business model, and everything else on this site follows from it.
Why the prices are on the website
The water treatment industry runs on in-home presentations. You call, someone comes out, and two hours later you find out what it costs. The length of that meeting is not an accident; it is the sales method.
We publish every price instead. $2,349 to $5,650 installed for a whole-home system, depending on what your water turns up, and each product page shows its own number next to what it does and what is inside it. You can work out roughly what your house needs before you ever speak to us.
The trade-off is real and worth saying out loud: there is not much room to discount, because the number was not inflated to leave room for one.
What that means on a visit
We test at your kitchen sink and show you the results while we are standing there. If your water is fine, we say so and leave. If you need one thing rather than four, we quote one thing. That costs us sales, and it is the reason we sleep fine.
A licensed North Carolina plumber does the installation. We do not cut corners on who touches your water lines.
We have installed 85+ systems across the Triangle, and the owner was at the kitchen sink for the water test on every one of them.
What is actually in the systems
We will tell you the manufacturer, the model, the media and the valve, and send you the manufacturer's own spec sheet before you sign anything. If a company will not put the model number in writing, that is worth asking about.
- Tanks
- Premium fiberglass, manufactured by Enpress in Ohio and loaded with media in Texas.
- Softening resin
- ResinTech CG10, 10% cross-linked, made in New Jersey. Standard resins run around 4% cross-linked, and the higher figure is what lets it stand up to far more chlorine before it breaks down.
- Carbon
- Jacobi catalytic coconut shell carbon, manufactured in Ohio from shells grown in soil selected to be arsenic-free.
- Control valve
- A ceramic disc valve rather than a plastic one, assembled in Wisconsin by Hankscraft, a company established in 1920.
Where a system carries certification, we say exactly which standard, per product. The Single Tank, Single Tank XL, Dual Tank and Iron Breaker AIO are certified to NSF/ANSI 42, 44 and 61, and every product page and spec sheet states its own. We make no NSF claim for our reverse osmosis units, and we will not stretch a standard into a claim it does not make.
