1. Who We Are
BluePeak Home Solutions Group LLC, doing business as BluePeak Water Filtration (“BluePeak,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), provides in-home water testing and the sale and installation of home water filtration systems. We are located at 207 West Millbrook Road, Suite 210, Raleigh, North Carolina 27609, and serve the Triangle area, including Wake, Durham, and Harnett counties and the surrounding area.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit bluepeakwaterfiltration.com, fill out a form on our site, call or text us, or become a BluePeak customer — and what we do with it.
This policy covers our website and the way we handle customer and lead information. It does not cover other companies’ websites that we may link to, or the separate privacy practices of any business we refer you to.
If you don’t want to read the whole thing, here is the short version: we collect the information you give us and some basic information your browser sends automatically, we use it to test your water, quote and install systems, and follow up with you, and we don’t sell it.
2. Information We Collect
Information you give us
When you fill out a form on our site, book a water test, request a quote, or become a customer, you may give us:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address
- Your home or service address
- Details about your home and your water — for example, well or city water, household size, number of bathrooms, existing equipment, and what you’ve noticed about your water (taste, smell, staining, hardness)
- Whether you agree to receive text messages from us
- Notes and messages you send us by form, email, text, or phone
- Water test results we collect during an in-home visit
- Appointment and installation details
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, some information is collected automatically by our website host and analytics tools, including:
- Your IP address
- Browser type and device type
- Pages you viewed and how long you were on them
- The site or ad that referred you to us
- General location (usually city or region level, based on IP address)
Information from third parties
We may receive information about you from:
- Advertising and lead platforms, if you submitted your information through an ad or listing we run
- Payment and financing providers, which tell us whether a transaction was approved or declined
- Referral sources, such as a plumber, contractor, or a customer who referred you
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Schedule and perform in-home water tests
- Prepare quotes and recommend filtration systems
- Schedule and complete installations, including coordinating with a licensed plumber
- Process payments and financing applications
- Provide service, warranty support, and filter replacement reminders
- Answer your questions and follow up on quotes
- Send appointment confirmations, reminders, and service updates by text or email
- Send marketing emails and texts to people who have opted in
- Improve our website, our pricing, and our service
- Keep records, handle disputes, and meet legal and tax obligations
4. SMS and Text Messaging
If you check the SMS consent box on one of our forms, or text us directly, you agree to receive text messages from BluePeak Water Filtration.
SMS opt-in information and consent are never shared or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We use your consent only to text you on behalf of BluePeak.
What to expect:
- Message types: appointment confirmations and reminders, quote follow-ups, service and installation updates, and — if you opted in to marketing — occasional promotions.
- Message frequency varies.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- To opt out: reply STOP to any message. You’ll get one confirmation message and then we’ll stop texting you.
- For help: reply HELP, or contact us at (984) 401-8890 or clean@bluepeakwaterfiltration.com.
Opting out of marketing texts does not stop us from contacting you about a job already scheduled or in progress, by phone or email.
Full program terms are on our SMS Terms page.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. Cookies and Tracking
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them to:
- Keep the site working properly
- Remember basic preferences
- Measure how many people visit, which pages they read, and where they came from
- Measure whether our ads are working
The tracking we use is GoHighLevel’s built-in website tracking, which is tied to the same system that stores your lead and customer records. It tells us which pages you visited and which form or ad brought you to us.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. If you block cookies, parts of the site may not work the way they should.
Some browsers and devices offer a “Do Not Track” or global privacy control signal. We do not currently respond to those signals.
6. Third-Party Service Providers
We use outside companies to run parts of our business. They only get the information they need to do their job for us, and they aren’t allowed to use it for their own marketing. These include:
- Customer relationship management (CRM): we use GoHighLevel to store lead and customer records, and to send email and text messages.
- Payments and financing: we offer Klarna, Afterpay, and Square. Card and bank details are entered with those providers and handled by them. We do not store your full card number. We generally see only what’s needed to confirm a transaction — for example, approval status, amount, and the last digits of a card.
- Website hosting: our site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages.
- Analytics and site tracking: we use GoHighLevel’s built-in website tracking to understand site traffic and where our leads come from. We do not currently run a Meta (Facebook) Pixel, Google Analytics, or Google Ads tracking on this site. If that changes, this policy will be updated.
- Installation: we work with licensed plumbing contractors, who receive your name, address, phone number, and the job details needed to complete your installation.
Each of these companies has its own privacy policy governing what they do with information they handle.
7. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent or trade your contact information, and we do not share SMS consent data with third parties for their marketing.
We share information only in these situations:
- With service providers, as described in Section 6, so they can perform work for us.
- With the plumber or contractor assigned to your installation.
- With payment and financing providers, when you choose to pay or finance through them.
- When you ask us to — for example, sharing your water test results with a home inspector, real estate agent, or family member.
- For legal reasons — to comply with a law, subpoena, or court order; to enforce our agreements; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of BluePeak, our customers, or the public.
- In a business transfer — if BluePeak Home Solutions Group LLC is sold, merged, or reorganized, customer information may transfer as part of that transaction.
8. Data Retention
We keep customer records — including water test results, quotes, agreements, and installation details — for as long as we have a business or warranty relationship with you, and afterward for as long as we need them for warranty support, service history, recordkeeping, tax, and legal purposes.
Leads that never become customers are kept in our CRM so we can follow up and so we don’t re-contact people who asked us not to. You can ask us to delete your information at any time — see Section 10.
9. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. Our website uses encryption in transit (HTTPS). Customer records live in our CRM, which is password-protected and limited to people who need access. Payment details are handled by our payment providers, not stored on our systems.
No method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure. We can’t guarantee absolute security, and we’d rather tell you that plainly than promise something nobody can promise.
10. Your Rights and Choices
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what we have — a copy of the personal information in our records about you
- Correct it — fix anything that’s wrong or out of date
- Delete it — remove your information from our systems, subject to records we’re required to keep (for example, completed transactions, warranty records, and tax records)
- Stop marketing to you — remove you from marketing emails and texts
How to make a request: email clean@bluepeakwaterfiltration.com or call (984) 401-8890 with your name and the phone number or email address you gave us. We’ll respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
You can also:
- Reply STOP to any text message to stop texts
- Click “unsubscribe” at the bottom of any marketing email
- Adjust cookie settings in your browser
11. Children’s Privacy
Our website and services are meant for adults. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us at clean@bluepeakwaterfiltration.com and we will delete it.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our business, our tools, or the law changes. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we’ll make a reasonable effort to let current customers know. Continuing to use our website or services after an update means you accept the updated policy.
